    yet another eBay scam

Guys...Be careful..This one is in Milwaukee about 30 minutes from me. I figure what the hell I will see if its for real. I wanted to send a guy a message and see where I can see it. When you hit the ask seller a question you are prompted for a userid and password - I did a double take and noticed the url was different. Needless to say they are trying to get your user id and password. Ebay item number is 130148433295

I remember reading a post similar to this a few days back. If you are a PayPal user make sure your password differs from the eBay one you use. I know until today mine were the same.

Many of those out there now...did you send the item # in to ebay? I just looked at it, it doesn't do the "ID/Password" thing with me...were you logged in?

The hide bidder ID thing is supposed to protect the bidder, but it really sucks. What it does is let the seller jack thier shit up and hide their other ID's... I hate it.
