    Primer Location (GPR)

Anyone have a good location or bracket idea etc. for the carb primer on a GPR? I was using the hole left from the fuel valve but I have since put the fuel pressure gauge there and the water pressure gauge in the other side. Any ideas or pics would be great!

I've seen someone use an "L" bracket and mount it where the old PV motor used to be - if you've removed yours.

Duke I put mine on the right side of the powervalve motor. I took an engine mount bracket off of a Mitsubishi Lancer (2002) where the hoist and chain would hook up to on the head and I simply used a drill bit to make the original bolt hole slightly bigger and the bracket fit in perfectly and it looks factory as well.Ill try to post pics. later.

I have a pressure guage on the left side of the boat, Primer is on the right side. I dont need it as I have novis and I dont need a primer. Since I havent found a plug for that location, it just stays there as a reminder of the one week I had to use it. Maybe that will help. That way, you dont have to lift off your seat to get to it.

    Hey Brian!

Why don't you need it with your Novi's? I still end up using mine on the with Novi's. Maybe it's because I don't ride enough though!!

Thanks guys. I ended up making an L bracket and installing where the PV motor used to be. Its probably a good idea to pull the seat off everytime anyways.

Here is a pick. Also don't forget to loop the primer line a few times as a reserve fuel supply. A straight line from the return feed tends to drain empty.
