2 questions any help appreciated!! :)

ok first off,do i need to still do crazy salt water maintnence if i went out in to the mouth of the ocean and then back down through the river again on the way back which is fresh water?

question 2, would be how long will a full tank of gas in a 96 slx 780 last? i was out for about 4 hours on the river and managed to literally putt all the way back to the marina with the light flashing. it was almost like a limp mode.

    thanks!!!

Salt water is terrible. Totally do a flush every time you run it through your engine. MPG depends on riding you're doing. WOT will guzzle gas, maybe 3-4 hrs, simple criusing and mild riding may last 6-7 hrs. If your light was flashing, you were most likely in limp mode.

would it go into limp mode if it was out of gas? also, whats the best way to flush after salt water? like i said i went back into a fresh water river when i was done.

Definately go into limp mode when low on gas. Back flush kit works well, or get the salt water treatment from a boat supplier.
