Seadoo Spi bogging out, no fuel
My 94 SPi starts great, idles great, runs for a bit then bogs out completely at wo throttle. I basically had this thing sold, put it in water and same old problem that I had earlier this year. Has had carbs rebuilt, new fuel sending unit, filters clean...I'm so frustrated right now...anyone have any ideas...could the speed screws on the carb cause this?

So, not water in fuel or in the separator?
Do you get good spark? Everything tight in the 'box'?
What are you gapping the plugs at?
My local hero mechanic 'Chester' has told me to use .18 to .20
and the .18 works great for me.
Sorry I can't offer anymore ideas than this for now as that is my limit in this department.

Man, I changed plugs and caps...gap at .18...same dang results...I even swapped some of the lines around on the fuel sender (basically bypassed the filter part) while I was at the lake this weekend...same exact results...so I ebay'd it, detailing the problem, a mechanic in Texas called me and we discussed it, he bought it...so maybe he can get it running back to the form it had in July. Just hated to part one like that out that is really clean and cranks with just a light touch of the button, so maybe it got a good home and I won't see some of my old SPi parts on ebay soon
