RXP ride plate sealing info wanted
Ok, to make a long story short, I am in the process of freshening up the bottom of my ski. Had to repair one of my ride plate hole plugs while I was being constructive. This particular plug appeared to have caught some type of STD from the water around here. Anyways, I noticed that a small section of sealer was missing between the ride plate and the hull. My plate was sealed from the rear of the intake grate to about 1/2 way down ride plate. I'm planning to remove the existing sealer from the plate and reseal it with some fresh, wholesome goodness.
My question is should I seal the plate completely or just carry it to the 1/2 way point which is the way it was when I brought it home?
