    Can I use a 780 motor in a 750SL hull?

Do I need to change anything? Will the carbs work or should I get 780 carbs? Will the computer work? Thanks Dan

If I remember correctly from prior posts a couple of years ago, the cdi and the stator are definite changes. The carbs i think are the same but the jetting and settings will need to be adjusted. The hull is the same, so the conversion should be relitively simple.

Sure can. Rejet carbs, 780 exh manifold and a 780 CDI are all that's required to swap a 780 engine for a 750 or 650. The H.O. triple fuel pump and 780 Flame Arrestor would be nice too.
