    Polaris 2000 Virage MFD Need Help

    Hello, can anyone tell me how to keep the mositure from getting inside the MFD??? I have had 2 MFD units and both have had the same problem.

    Unfortunately there was a problem with the pressure transducer on the older units, (I'm assuming the virage units are water-fed also) and there isn't anyhing that can be done about the poor craftsmanship done during assembly.

    Is there a trick to get the moisture out of the MFD??

    I've heard of people drilling a small hole in the bottom, and leaving it in the sun for a while. And it worked.

    But if you decide to go this route, be sure to re-seal it with an epoxy to prevent water entering again.

    While I don't condone this method, it has worked for a couple people. And I'll leave the decision in your capable hands.
