Thread: Yamaha Outboard

I know this is a pwc forum but im sure many ppl here could help me with this. My yamaha outboard engine (200hp-2 stroke) seems to be lacking power. Whenever I try to plane off it takes forever now and the top speed isnt there. I think it just mayneed a good servicing (changing impeller, plugs, fuel filter, gear oil) Could any one here walk me through how to do any of those?
The help would be MUCH appreciated

Check spark and compression, Before you start buying anything. Plugs are rarely culprit, not your w/p as long as it's pissing and not overheating I would rule that out, gear oil isn't culprit (but may need changing)
