what size screw driver? ( side panel )
What size screwdrivers do i need to take off my side panels, or cowels i think there also called... I'm swapping mine out for another pair i bought..

i think there metric allen head bolts like an 8 or so

yes,they are allen head. Im not sure of the size. I just went through the bits til i found the right size. Be careful of the 2 under the glovebox. The are cheap, odds are they will strip before they come out of the backing plate.
When it happened to me. I cut off the bolts from behind with a dremel cutting wheel and replaced them with same size and style stainless bolts and stainless nylon insert nuts from west marine. I threw the backing plate away. It still had the cut off bolts stuck in it.
Even with the bolts out, the fairings still have plastic mounting clips that hold it on. I used a small screw driver to pry it out to locate the clips and get my fingers behind it and pulled slowly until it popped. It feels like it going to break, but eventually it will give way and pop free. Pretty scary stuff
