    2001 ultra won't rev

My 2001 ultra 150 won't rev past 4k rpm. Comp is 125# on all 3, reeds are good, carbs have been inspected and are o.k. Ignition is firing on all cyls, and runs o.k out of the water. It sounds like the timing is out. Does anyone know how to check the timing? I can't find any references in the manual and I want to see if I have a sheared flywheel key. Thanks

Try checking the temp sensor, sounds like its in limp mode. Or you got a bad plug/dead clylinder.

I'm far from the resident expert, but if it was in limp mode, would the warning light flash on the display?
