    Replacing fenders on the trailer

I ahve a karavan trailer and think it would be convenient to replace the flimsy fenders with ones that can be used as a step.

    Anybody do this?

Anybody have fenders that can support your weight and find using the fenders as a step convenient?

    thanks
    scott

I got a yacht club double trailer. You can step on the foot wells and it will support you. The fenders are plastic, but there are metal braces welded to the trailer that come out and support the foot wells, that is how it holds the weight of my fat ass.
