Im looking to mod my 02 1100 stx di. i was wondering what would be the best thing for me to do. i want higher top speed without losing too too much performance out of the hole. im not looking to spend thousands either but not a cheapo. what should i do and what would be best for me? thanx.

    STX

You know you can use the same Rideplate and intake grate as the Stxr.

    Don't think they make those.

Sorry to dig this thread up from the dead, but I just wanted to give my .02 cents here.

We own an 1100 DI and have found that there really isn't much of an aftermarket support for it. Our local PWC speed shop said the only mods worth doing were the grate and prop, both of which we did a few years ago. Ours is also now a 1200cc due to oversize Wiseco pistons. It's not the fastest ski on the water, but it ain't the slowest, either. It's held its own with a bone stock turbo Honda before, but I wouldn't consider it a 'performance' ski by any stretch.

Good for hauling skiers and kids, etc. That's what I would use one for.

Also, ours is currently for sale right now at a killer price for anyone looking for a good family ski. We've got four skis now and are running out of room. That's the only reason we're selling it.

Ballin... If you wouldn't mind, post up the details on the 1100 to 1200cc DI upgrade. Did you use flat top pistons? Which impeller? This would be a nice set-up in conjunction with a GroupK port job.
