Reliability of built motors?
Ok so Im tired of getting beat by supercharged stock and slightly modded stock skis. I was going to get riva heads, VF3 reeds, 3 degree keyway, 14/20 prop, efi controller. Anyway, after talking with someone who had exactly those mods I kind of got steered away from it. I would like a ski that did 75mph give or take that i would not have to worry about breaking all the time, blowing up, or having to rebuild every year. I want to spend more time riding than wrenching.. Is this possible or would the above cost reliability for speed? i have 07 gpr by the way. thanks

Reinforce the tunnel first!
race filter or Ross nemo TB mod
Jims FF plate
R&D 800/1200 grate
seal the pump
step stock sponsons
cut stock head @ 150psi
Riva EFI controller
VF3 reeds/spacer setup
go to premix (optional)
free flow tube (optional)
D plate (R&D)
This will hurt them other boats, giving you a hard time!

Woody covered it. I don't think you will have that many problems with the mods listed. Just take your time and double check everything.

should run 75-76mph.I got mine to run over 74 @ 4100' above sea level. It really depends on how you setup the hull components.

I'm the gunie pig on a 1500 ported single pipe built at Ben's Performance Plus over 50 hard hrs, no complaints here. If you live anywhere by Mississippi, he's the guy to see.
