this place in london Ontario repairs your VTS system for $125 in 4 days. you ship it over night for $10 (for me where i am) and they pay for return shipping.check there web site.this looks like what im gonna do instead of buying a new/used one off of fleabay...

That guy is just down the road from me. I plan to visit his shop and have him repair a VTS unit for me. I am pretty sure I have 2-3 bad housings around here. I thought I saw him advertising the repairs for a $100 though.

I found that the relays in my '94 XP were burried deep in some solid resin cake and had to do some Frankensteining to bypass them.
Let us know how you make out with the R&R as I am currious if the repair is internal or external to the resin.

when i asked how long it took to repair ,the guy said- quote:It takes normally 4 days to repair due to the chemicals used to remove and replace the encapsulation of the circuit board.
on there site it states $125 this includes return shipping. this seems like a better idea then buying another used one from fleabay only to have it end up with the same problems.

He was advertising $100 somewhere. I think it was on Ebay. I did notice that he was asking $125 in one place and $100 in another.
