can a worn wear ring hurt RPM?
I know it will effect hole shot & speed but will it effect top rpm if you have a worn wear ring???
I am down a bit & wonder if the ring is too blame....maybe a SS ring is in order.

absolutly good sir. not to the tune of 1000rpm, but it'll take a couple hun. away. that coupled with the heat can take some mph

That must be it...i am down ~200-250 rpm & this ring has 35-40 hrs on it & two differant pellers (14/19 & 15/20). Stainless ring hear i come....maybe a front mount too???!!!
