    97 seadoo xp flooding, help

Brand new 787 sbt moter, rebuilt carbs, new needle valves, new seats(1.5) 80 gram springs ,32 psi pop off, I got it running in driveway on hose, seemed to be idleing ok, took to lake, plugs flood with gas, wont start at all, also seemed to start better at house with water on, than off.Cylinder heads never got hot on hose, seemed to heat up in lake even thouogh it never started.Had this @#$% thing to lake twice ,never got off trailer. Should i raise pop off or use smaller low speed jets to cure flooding? Or could this be a water problem, hoses to head are clear,(checked with water on and hoses disconnected) Once this thing finally starts it starts with the touch of the starter, but when it cools off, its impossible to start in water, but starts in driveway .Any help would be greatly appreciated

What kind of flame arrestors? What is your jetting? What parts excatly were replaced on the carbs? What other mods if any does the engine have? Pipe?

Give us this...and then we can help...

stock flame arresters, stock jetting, 65 low, 142.5 ,147.5 high, replaced needle valves and seats, standard rebuild kit. group k fuel air separator, no other mods, I just checked the pump water intakes and found intake grate missing, how would that affect cooling input?

Replaced all fuel lines downstream of main engine filter, replaced internal fuel filters, getting too much gas drowning plugs, but will run in driveway if you clean plugs several times, then starts at touch of button ,till it cools off . One more thing, its getting oil in the pulse line ?? Also Needle valves seem to work perfect with pop off tester

The 97's had an accelerator pump...did you disassemble it and spray carb cleaner through the orifice until clear? The ski will fall on it's face in the water if the pump is not working. Too lean off bottom feels like it's flooding too...
