    Gas gauge problem!

I was just wondering if my gas gauge is supposed to go down a couple bars at a time. I mean there is like 7-8 bars but its either full 3/4, 1/2 , 1/4 empty. What is the point you go from 1/4 or 1/3 to empty. its an 06 gpr. Thanks

I've found that when i hit the buzzer I have about 5 gallons of fuel left. So with a 16 gallon tank, I'd have to guess its about 2.5-3 gal per 2 bars. It's not an exact science, but close.

yeah once the alram goes off you seem to have about 20 mins of fuel left before it runs dry and theres no bypass on an 06 model either like there is on the carby models which you can swap to after it runs dry on the main.
