Pro Tech Turbo Tube on an 06 gpr???
Any feedback on this??? I currently have a Riva ride plate, R&D intake, pump seal kit, Solas Dynafly 14/20, Riva EFI controller, Free flow, D plate, and the Island Racing holeshot mod. Id like to start doing some engine work and get some more speed out of this b*tch. Is there a big difference from stock other than weight of the pipe? Im also looking to get reeds and a cage, any suggestions? Also which is better, an after market head or having the stock on shaved down? What else could I do to gain speed... Rideplate and prop are going to go to Carl when the seasons over for a repitch and some rideplate mods... I finnaly broke 70 and hope to achieve 77-80 by the start of next season. The day I broke 70 was humid and 94 degrees so i figure it to be 72 or so on a cool day maybee... This forumn has been like a crack addiction!!! Thank you all in advance!

VF3 Reeds w/ spacer
Forget the Turbo Tube, D-Plate and Jetworks in stock tube is the best
Send your stock head out to Jim to be milled
Sonic Boom Throttle Bodies
Those things right there should get you to 75 mphish

or you can get a riva freeflow about a 1/2mile less on top over the stock sound suppression but, a better holeshot and less detnation IMHO the turbo tube sucks.............

I already have an EFI and freeflow... Im going to have the throtle bodies modded.... Id rather do that than spend 500 bills on a pipe that doesnt make any difference in performance. Are the VF3's and stuffers the best reeds to run with this set up?

I have the VF3's and recently added the Sonic Booms. What a difference in the midrange! While I'm fixing my stock stinger (cracked the rear mount) I've been using a turbo tube. It really kills the top end and my RPM's have been way down.
Talk with Ross - he's a great guy and can really help you out!

protec turbo tube makes you accelerate faster.. and a different sound. I have one... and have noticed a greater acceleration, and sound.. but i havent GPS tested the speeds.. i was running the same speeds... ( by what the guage reads)
i have pics of the turbo tube installed if you want.

The Turd-O-Tube and the Stinger pipes from Riva were definately not know for top speed mods. I had a Stinger III on an 02 and it was GREAT for low and mid range, but I did see a top speed increase when I put the stock stinger on it.
