    compression

    Hello does anybody now what the compressions should be on a 93 SL 750 with no mods and having the one rear cylinder bored to .05 should be

    125-130 ish?? I'd be more concerned about the cylinders being within 10% of each other.

    how about why would you bore one cylinder bigger and not the other.

    finding a used cylinder and a brand new piston is just as expensive and you get a balanced engine with equal volume cylinders...

    We didn't say it was the proper method. You asked why and I told you. A used cylinder may need to be bored or honed as well.

    I only bored 1 over factory (.0005)
