    Exclamation HELP!! gp1200r oem carbs buckshot modded

    hi guys,is any one using these carb,i have just aquired a set ,but im not shore weather to use these or rebuild standard carbs,any information and/or jetting specs would be a big help ,thanks bill

    no one use these,are they sh!t ,is standard I body carbs better,thanks bill

    I had several sets, they work very well, and took me about 2 weeks to get the right jetting specs. Make sure that you disassemble them completely and clean them well with soap and water . What ski are you running them on???

    engine mods,stardard 1200 with,riva head 150psi,r&d ignition,carbon tech reeds with riva stuffers,d plate with jetworks valve,flame arresters,dual fuel pick ups with no fuel tap,engine grabbed number 3 cylinder suppect running to lean at the end of last summer,so will be doing engine rebuild and not shore what carbs to use p.s have ruis double cage reeds and waver eater clips to instore when engine goes back together,do you guys recommend any other mods while engine is apart

    Can u post a pic of the Rius reeds and spacer??? Does the spacer have the bolt holes for the stock carbs bolts to pass thru it???

    there is no bolt hole for standard carbs,but should be able to drill them

    They look great

    Do yourself a favor and loctite all of them 48 bolts. This will prevent future major headaches later.

    carbie jet sizes

    Thanks for everyones in put i will try jetting as fercho used 130P,117.5M,2.3n/s with 95g springs,i no doubt this will work ,but how does bigger pilots ,then mains work,i will have to get out the old trusty mikuni bible and have another read,thanks bill
