Wait until the Hydrospace runabout comes out - you'll be seeing a lot more than $15,000, and that's this year. Rumor has it you can buy an RXP-X, and SHO for about what this thing's going to cost. Doesn't surprise me when their standup S4 is $13k.

I wouldn't mind paying upwards of 15k or more for a ski, but it had damn well better have some crazy shit going for it. I want more than just 300+hp and 70mph+ speeds. I want options, accesories, gadgets, etc. or else I'd just buy a 5 year old ski and dump cash into it to make it fast.

Have you priced outboard motors lately? Many of the larger 4 strokes are going for over $20 grand. Then you have to purchase a SS prop, gauges, battery, and don't forget the boat to put it on !!

PWC are really a bargain !

Man, that's crazy. I think about the $8k I paid for my GPR in '02 and I can't imagine paying twice that only 5 years later. If I buy again, it'll be a used one with a blown engine that I can work on myself and save money.

Here's my approach. I'll pay what the market dictates, within reason. HOWEVER, I think I'm done paying big bucks for super tankers. I'd rather have 9-10ft maximum length craft, and maybe my standup.

I would rather see yamaha release the GPR with the 160HO engine than get rid of it. Wouldn't you?

They're pretty much there now. 10k is my realistic limit for a toy and that's all these are.
