Rode the RXT this past week! WOW!!!

Guys I had been a RXP guy since 04, But I got a chance to ride the RXT thisa past week and boy what a different ride then my RXP's....

I have to say without a doubt it is so much faster and smoother through the chop. My wife and I road about 3 hours and we really liked it a bunch. It didn't have the power the RXP has, but was so much more fun on the long trips we are used too in the rough waters.

The biggiest negative I had for it was the steering. It just doesn't like to turn. It takes longer to actually turn and it is not a sharp in the turning factor as the rxp was, but ofcoarse it is longer...
It did actually turn hard if you were going 40+.... Then you need to hold on tight as it digs in hard for that kind of turn...

It was only able to pull 7640 RPM's and the oil was at half on the stick...

I hope to get anothere ride soon, but for the 2 and 3 year old this thing is so much better for them.... All 4 of us took a ride on it and fellt very safe and stable....

50 miles on about 2/3rds of a tank of gas...

PR I am done with MODS. I have to much to do anymore to work on my ski's. I love spending my time with the kids. I have a NEW set of skegs on the work bench and I don't even want to do that.

As soon as my other ski gets here I am just gonna RIDE them... Maybe this winter I will have time and I may do a Air intake or something....

My kids are with me as i don't put them in day care. My wife and I just work around it.

I agree. It really is an amazing hull. When i finally finnished with Rocko's 78 MPH RXT i was half tempted to build one for myself. What a monster!
