    78+mph RXP

HI, my name is Erik from SpeedFreeks Racing. I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I crossed over from the yamaha GPR this year to a 07 RXP. I have to say "i love it". This ski kicks ass out in the ocean and turns better than any GPR i have ever ridden. When i purchased this ski i only had one thing in mind... HOW FAST CAN I MAKE IT GO without spending BIG money on parts. Only 40hrs on the ski, i now have it running 78+mph with the stock INTERCOOLER and ECU box. I was able to achieve these speeds with getting some of my information from the Green Hulk forum. My speeds before my mod ride plate was 77 mph @ 8160 rpm. Today's speeds with higher temperature & humidity and the mod plate was 8100 to 8120 rpm @ 78.3 to 78.5 mph. All speed was with a 1/4 tank of fuel.

Here is a list of my mod's:
    Riva Stage 1
    Riva SC
    R&D Power shot
    Mod Water Box
    Speedfreeks Mod ride Plate
    Holes Filled
    Rear Intake

I'm now on a mission to try and hit 80mph!!!!

    Talking Welcome ERIK

Hi Erik and Welcome to the 4-tech world I hop its better experience for U than 2 strokes I used to Race on GPR and it was fully modified but I like the 4-tech Engines better... I’m running stage III on my 2004 RXP and most of my parts from jerry.

Yes more info on the ride plate please...is it just 'prettier' or does it 'function' differently than stock...because those are some kick ass numbers with 'just' those mods you have...!

    Welcome to the board.
ditto:, but I`ve heard of this and it didn`t have good reviews from the critics here, so what`s in the box?...PR...

MIARider, the R&D powershot is a fuel tunner.

DIGGS, I did not change the shape of the plate.

RXPSteve, The plate has been machined on the other side to help get the nose up.

The plate has also been sanded & trued. I found the plate to be verry wavy when i was sanding it. I would say my speed gain is a sold 1+mph gain over stock plate.

PALE RIDER, I only know it worked for me and a few of my customers.... i don't know about anybody els that has tryed this in the past. Who's to say they did the same mods.

I also forgot to mention that i'm around 300 lbs

    THANKS FOR THE WELLCOME GUYS!!!
