    Temperature sensor

I just finished breaking in my new motor on my 91 WR III. I got to thinking about the temp sensor. It is just placed in the head and the bolts put in. Is ther supposed to be anything in the cavity around it such as grease, or does it just fit dry?

Was thinking ky jelly?? JUST KIDDING.
There should be some dielectric grease to transfer heat, but even just a smear of grease will help if it ever needs to be removed.
I no longer run a temp sensor on my 91sj since the last rebuild.
    Good luck
