    R & D kits for ultra250X

    Skip and us have been in close contact and working with glen at R&D while he is testing some kits for the Ultra. They now have ready to ship some products that the consumer can buy right now that has a major increase in pwr with awsume reliability. These kits are easy to install and very effective and work well with no other mods needed. I said a while back just wait stuff is comming. He is doing the final touches on the install directions. These kits address belt alighnment and intercooler issues as well.

    Got mine on Friday minus the instructions! Pretty nice kit, the only thing I am wondering about is why they use high impediance injectors when the stock ones were low impediance????? I know going from high to low without using some sort of driver will burn stuff up. I am going to do a little more research before I install them and see if it will cause a problem.

    Import racer.... the coils are the same. the pink injector has a differant length magnet on the piston only!!! Any time you change the flux density around a coil the impedence is going to change. the mosfet drivers in the ECM do not know the differnace operating at this frequency and duty cycles. The injectors are blue on the 15 12F green on the ultra and pink the brown then white they are just differnt ratings of flow in the same series. Install the kit and smile.

    When will 93 octane not be enough?
    When will the stock IC not be enough?
    1.05 to 1?
    1.1 to 1?

    If all run on 93 why would I want the 1 to 1 and not the 1.1 to 1?

    Can you run that by me one more time? The factory green ones are 2 ohm, the pink ones are 14ohm.Thats my only question.

    I thought you look up the specs from puegot. The resistance is what you were talking about not impendence. you can go higher not lower with no problems. Hope this helps
