where can I find these carb screws

    Hey guys,

I am almost done rebuilding my cdkII carbs on my sl900 but the 3 screws that hold the bar on the needle valve spring loaded assembly located on the jet block have completely rusted out and I need to replace them. I am having a hard time trackign down a parts distributor... Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Cal

yep its the tapered ones, (you wouldn't knwo it from the shape these things are in). I am actually really lucky that I got them out, there is hardly anything left of the heads. Anyways I will need 3 of them if that is possible.

Cal, how is the engine coming? Did you find the cylinders that you were looking for?

I saw that you were looking at Shibby's SLX. Are you getting it?

    Hey Ax,

I am doing well! I had to take the engine out and take the crankcase apart to fish out the pieces of piston. It is back together and I have cylinders in transit which means I just need to assemble! the carbs are waiting on those 3 screws, then I put my hydromat kit on and tada!

I am going to buy the slx for reliability, I won't find a 99' with those kind of hours anywhere, and I know its been well looked after. I will probably sell the sl900 but the learning has been invaluable.

Well, if you don't buy it, I very well might.
