Oh yeah, I'm the man!
Just ordered a pump seal kit and Toploader intake grate for the Mrs' GP800R... crack open a cold one and celebrate with me!

I remember being excited by pump seal kits and new grates - congrats! The simple mods are the most fun.
Just wait 'till you're spending $500-1000 at a time to get the same thrill...

I agree with y'all. But then, this is my wife's ski... I can't have her smoking me out there.
Besides, I forgot to mention the head's been milled, and it has aftermarket air intake on it, plus who knows what else... kinda puzzles me as to why the previous owner didn't start where I did. Of course that'd mean I had to do the expensive stuff, so I ain't worried about it.

Hey guys, does he need to richen up the carbs with the milled head and aftermarket air intake?
Ric, have you checked the spark plug color after a full throttle run?
Just watching out for ya, buddy!

Not yet I ain't. But I need to on my STX-R(Uses gas so quick I think I have a hole in my tank)too , so we'll have a good li'l test and tune before too long. I haven't even pulled the plugs out of the Yam, so if nothing else, I need to to check how she's running. Thanks for the reminder, bub.
