Metal inside Oil Filter
Is this bad? It didn't strike me as a good thing, and I knew i forgot to post and ask this question
I pulled my oil filter out yesterday just because it was right in front of me while i was working on my ski and I changed it since it was convenient. started going through it to see if I found anything, and I found a few small shiny metal tiny fragments...
What do you make of this?

thats pretty normal. as long as its not excessive then you are good to go.

cool... i looked between every single filter separation... came across 6-7 little tiny pieces ... but hey, i guess that's what an oil filter is for!

Sounds like something we all should be checking for! I`ll look next time. I haven`t seen anything, but I didn`t examine in between the pleats either...PR...
