On mine I saw 8000-8100 when it was 100% stock, after the 10hr service.

During break in similar to what you saw, maybe 7900 or so.

TJ, my rpms never hit 8100 when i was completly stock where we ride at. i think it has something to do with the temp of the water since its always like bath water.

after the 10hrs.. at 11, 12hrs i only saw tops, maybe around 7900, never got into the 8s, i still havent held open throttle for long, maybe not long enough to even get it to full RPMs... taking it out tommorow for a short ride before I take it in for the 10 hr service

I've opened it up! just being easy on her... we need to put the metal washers in! (knock on wood)

What I have read and seen is that the 07 RXT's usually don't hit 8100 rpm's if they are stock. The highest rpm's I have seen is 8040 and that was today in 64 degree water. The oil is right above the bottom bend of the dipstick with no wear ring or alignment issues. My RXT has 45 hours on it and ran usually 7860 to 7900 in the mid summer heat.

order them from the online store and we can do that along with some other things as soon as the washers come in.
