I am planning on recrimpping my oil lines to the carbs when I have my pipe off to put in a D-plate Monday. Is this a brand name, or a type of clamp? I asked Riva Yamaha if they sold a special clamp or wire tie for these oil lines, and they said no. I bought a new primer kit off them this past spring, and it came with some trick wire ties that had metal guts in the wire tie. I have asked them, my local Yamaha shop, Napa auto parts...... even looked a Lowes. Nothing. I did find two different type of metal clamps. One was a round metal wire type I got at Napa, and another was a metal tube type I got a a Suzuki shop. I also bought some high grade plastic wire ties at Napa. I don't know what the stock ones that fail look like. I wanted to ask someone on here what they use..... Post a pic if you can of these clamps you are going to use.... Thanks, James in WV USA.

The metal insert Tie wraps are used and found in electrical supply places. One brand is Brady. I think McMaster-Carr has them.

Does this cover the fuel lines also ? I dont have any laying around and really dont want to pull the stinger just to check the OD of the lines.

Using an Oetiker clamp is a very good idea on these boats. I have them where ever possible. If there is a hose you are constantly removing like your Jetworks valve, for example, at least use an OEM yami clamp. Those cheap SS clamps you get at the hardware store or boat supply house will eventually break or come lose.
