    Glue remover?

I am taking the mats off my ski and going with hydroturf but, I need the glue off first. What can I use that will work?

I used Laquer Thinner when I took my old mats and decals off.. It worked very well and didn't damage the paint or gel coat.. It takes a little elbow grease and smells bad but it works great..

High Strength Acetone like "Parks" brand # 2615 @ The Home Depot.
I forgot how much I paid, but 1 Qt is enough.
Scrape all the residue. Don't forget to sand the surface after removing the glue for the perfect bond (I used dry sandpaper 320 grit)

Thanks guys, I have some goo-gone that I picked up going to try that. It worked on the decals. I was going to get acetone but was not sure if it would be to strong. So going to try this, if it dose not work going to get the acetone. Thanks

Didn't even think of that. I have plenty of that in the garage.

Goo gone works good and easier on the paint. Soak the adhesive with a rag and come back with a plastic body filler spreader and scrape it off.
