Last night at 3:30 am the police were at my door. Somebody tried to steal my PWC's off the truck. The Police drove me two blocks to where I park and the trailer was off, lock pryed and ready to steal. Lady across the street yelled at them and they left..........This happened in Toronto at Yonge and Lawrence, a central point in the city. Anyone know where I can get more things to make it harder to steal eg. wheel locks........ I was lucky this time.

Sorry - the pwc's were on the trailer connected to the truck?
wheel locks might help - it would certainly seter a would-be theif and convince him to find a more suitable (easy) target.
good thing your neighbor was watching.

I always runa cobra chain thru the wheel and around the frame. They can't take the wheel off and it won't roll.

I'd get some wheel lug locks to prevent them from swapping the wheels, then get a Kryptonite lock and run it thru a spoke in the wheel and through the intake grate of your skis. I'd also get a heavier duty lock for the hitch as well.
I have my ski in the garage, so less worries, but if mine was kept off site, I'd try my best to keep theives away.
You need to thank that old lady and take her to lunch, that way she'll keep and eye on your stuff for ya in the future.

do they stay out there all the time? or just one night? if i had to park 2 blocks away I would move!!!! but if that is not an option i would see about parking the ski at a secure parking place.

Was it those indians ? I heard hardcore indians steal Snowmobiles all the time in Canada-- They steal truck trailer whole rigs - they part out snowbiles soo fast and then throw the chasis in the river.

guys stay away from the krptonite locks!!!!!!!
You can go on you tube and they have videos on how to pick the lock open with a bick pen cap in literally less than 10 seconds. I have lost all respect for those locks!!!!!!
