    Leo's holeshot kit.....2 thumbs up!

Just installed the holeshot kit and i must say,Leo did a very good job on the molded parts.Everything fit nice and the install was easy.

One thing i want to add to Leo's instructions:

When grinding the 10 rub rail rivets(Dremel)start on one side, grind it down about half way then move to the next one and so on.The reason for this is,the rivets get real hot and start to melt the plastic on the rub rail, were the rivet goes through. This will pull the rivet through the plastic.Learned the hard way. After you get to the last one,the first one is cool enough to finish grinding all the way down.

Thanks Leo,you did real good! Cant wait to test it out. This coming weekend,i will post results.

First thing i noticed, after leaving the wake zone is the ski didnt have that 'stuck in the water' feeling. As i applied some throttle,it felt like it was on plane already. Night and day difference from before. The ski actually felt lighter without the drag created from the rub rail.I will be getting another one for my triple.I did not have a chance to run it in rough water yet.Leo and others have told me how much better the rough water handling is and i cant wait to test it out. I highly recommend this mod from Leo.

Thanks again leo,you did real good!

Whats the weight of the kit.

I was thinking that the extra weight on the back of the ski, sould lift the nose out of the water , ever so slightly, and that would create less drag, would i be wrong in assuming it will also improve the top end speed ?

Your assumption is correct, plus there is nothing back there for the water to grab when your hauling ass through the rough. My boat stays great in the water with the kit on it, rough or smooth.
