My top speed; RXT light mods

    2006 RXT
    Only mods are.....
    Jerry'sWashers
    Skeggs
    Riva Intake Grate

conditions 1/2 tank gas, 68 degrees outside, perfect ripple water conditions, I weigh 200lbs.

Used timex GPS watch that registers current speed and can be set for max speed. Had it set on max speed so it tracked for the highest speed I hit that day.

    68.8max

Welcoming all comments on how I could see 70 flat.... with a few more light mods. Thanks all,

filling the 6 ride plate holes, and making the intake grate/bolts flush with the ride plate, and filling the gap...

some people line the bolts with silicon, or a chunk of rope, etc...The cover the holes with an epoxy, such as PC11 or JBWeld...then sand smooth...

Doo a search, you'll find info on how to...

Wait till it's 40 degrees out. That's a quick ski for your mods.

Thats why I said put silicone or rope around the bolts...

I put some right stuff gasket sealant on and around the bolts...then placed a washer on top of the bolts...Once dried, I filled the holes with a marine grade WATERWELD 2 part epoxy puddy, like $2...Once dried, i sanded smooth...

IF you ned to get at the bolts, a tap with a flat head and it all pops out...

If you had put in a Green or RR supercharger wheel when you went with the metal washers, and just tweaked the trailing end of your prop blades down 1mm, you'd be seeing a solid 70.
