    15F cold air intake

I have an 06 15F with the Riva rpm kit on it. This may be a repost I don't know. I put my air filter in the rear storage bucket to seperate it from the heat of the engine compartment. I got all the parts on ebay . 2.75 inch 90 degree silocone elbow . This mounts to the throttle body pointing up and to the right. Also got a 2.75 inch polished aluminum tube 18 inches long with a 90 degree bend at the end. You have to cut it to legnth with a hack saw. Since aluminum conducts heat I wraped it with pipe insulation. Drill a 2.75 inch hole in the top center of the storage bucket facing the front of the ski. Take the 90 of the throttle body clamp it to the pipe then 90 into the air filter. On the back side of the bucket drill 2 more 2.5 inch holes for the air intake tubes. These will also have to be cut to legnth . I ran mine in at the bottom rear of the bucket this way if any water comes in it will be below the filter already. Drill 4 small holes one in each corner of the bucket so if water gets in it will drain out into the hull. Last flip the rear seat over and remove the gasket that seals to the top of the bucket. This will leave small gap around 1/8 inch for additional cool air to get in. I don't have a gps or aftermarket tach but the throttle feels crisper and I'm pulling on a ski that I used to be even with. Also used to be 2 bars over 7K now 3 bars over 7K on stock tach. Stock speedo reads 2mph faster than before . Take it for what its worth . I think it helped but only real proof is walking away from my buddies ski that I was even with. By the way dropped my camera and broke it so I can't post pics but its pretty easy.

I think I am being robbed of cold air! This should increase RPM's as well.
