    Ported 1200 or standard 1300

About rebuild single pipe gp1200r,my budget allows me to bore/plate my standard cylinder to 1300 or buy a excellent set of used ported 1200 cylinders,i know port 1300/1390 would be to go but to budget down allow for this, but it would be nice, what do you guys think?

What are you after Billy, just top end or a good quick ski?
I was toying with the same, but because I want a very quick holeshoting ski, and am no too bothered about over 70mph skis-Im going to go big bore.If it's flat enough to go over 70 mph-I take my blaster out!

porting doesn't do much to the 1200 cylinders - expensive for a small gain
