I have a 2003 Ford lightning..I have an eclipse avn unit..either is nice..go to eclipses website and chekc them out. they are kind of pricy but you can find nice used ones on ebay for cheap. thats how I ogt mine. The screen is VERY clear, and functions are awesome...and its an eclipse, it will last forever!

Alpine. I don't watch while driving but when picking up kids and waiting in the parking lot or other things I do watch. The picture quality is top notch and then when listening to XM Radio you can see veru easily who the artist is and what the name of the song is.
Now if you are getting something to play movies for the people in the back seat and none up front is watching, you can save a chunk of change and buy the ones that hook on the headrest pretty cheap.
There are so many options and the technology is so good.
I have nothing but Alpine from the in-dash 7" to a 10.1" flipdown with a DVD changer and hookups and plug ins for XBOX all running with the F1 Status in Dolby Digital Surround Sound.
You don't have to spend a ton to get decent quality now days.
