    draining fuel tank for storage?

    can and should I drain the fuel tank on my 03 4tech for storage for 6 months or more? the honda aquatrax manual says to drain the tank but the siphon hose does not seem to go into the seadoo tank. any help here? I know about fuel stabilizer. can I get the fuel out of the seadoo tank and should I. honds seems to think so. no freezing in orange county california skis stored outside with covers on them. any help on siphon equipement? bob

    To siphon it out, simply undo the filler tube on the tank and siphon out...

    You can drain the tank, but it is recommended that use leave atleast 2-3 gallons in there to keep the end of the fuel pump submerged...this is especially needed on some 2-stroke skis...

    When taking them out of storage, put a fresh tank of high octane in...

    Fuel stabilizer can be used, but it is not recommended for anything less than 6 months...

    leave the tank as it is or if you want to pull the fuel out, put the syphon tube in, lift the front storage part feel the tube trying to get past the 90 degree bit squeez the 90 bend till the hose gets into deeper fuel vwalla
