The electric box is held down by 2 rubber flat straps. The fuel pump is normally bolted to a bracket at the top and rear of the engine. Take a look and see if there is only 3 hoses on the fuel pump(single outlet),if there is then it should be upgraded to a triple outlet pump.Search the polaris forum for "fuel pump upgrade",and you'll see it's the best insurance you can buy for under $30.00

Xlint has the pump upgrade set-up on e-bay right now.

I had the triple outlet pump. It is sitting loosely on top of the drive shaft cover. does not look like it has enough line to bolt on the top. Maybe I need to replace all the fual line. Any suggestion on clear fuel line and what is the right size? thx

If you follow my link to my gallery, look under SL750 and you can get a good idea of where a lot of the guys/gals mount the pump. Keep the pump higher than the pulse line fitting so the crap stays in the engine not the pump.
If you get clear or colored be sure you get good high quality hose and the correct clamps for the hose. The hose needs to be Taragon or better or you will suffer with fuel supply problems. You're looking for 1/4 inch hose.
Randy at Watcon has the hose and clamps for the job if you can't find the stuff.

I can't seem to find out what Taragon tubing is, is there any chance you were meaning Tygon tubing?
