    1 degree wedge or not?

    installed ride plate,was impressed with gps speed of 67.8.Was wondering if I should install wedge and what gain would I see?

    you will get a lot of opinions if you ride smooth water a lot and have very little chop go with the two degree wedge. Upto 1 ft of chop I could of lived with the 2 degree, but I did tend to porpoise and anything over 1 ft and the boat unhooked and had a tendency to go airborne more.

    I have thought about the 1 degree but I figure if I lose .4 mph with no wedge I can live with it for what I hope to gain in hookup.
