    Want to smack someone....

My oldest daughter called me a short while ago and said her car sounded like it had no muffler on it. She came over and started it up for me. Sounded like a hole or a broken pipe. Crawled under her car and some scumbag cut her catalitic converter off her car. It was cleanly done, but it was between when she got home from work and was going out to eat, a total of 2 hours in her car port.

Insurance will help with some of it, she called the security company that monitors her complex (stupid rent a cops are too predictable).

I know they did it for the metals inside, the insurance guy said this was the second one this week he has taken a call on.

Yup that is what I have heard also. The bummer is it will run about $300 to replace it.

around here we have burglars entering new homes and ripping out thousands of dollars of copper water tubing. that has been a scary thought lately but we are in the country so i think we are safe.

The country is where a lot of these bumbs focus their attention down here. Far distances between houses, people gone for extended times. My sister lives 1 mile away from the closest house. They had someone litterly back up a u-haul and cleaned her and her husband out.
