    fast cure 5200 screw up

I screwed up and put 5200 FC (permanent sealant), rather than 4200 (removable) on my pump shoe. Any ideas for helping getting sealant and shoe off?
By the way it is just like the package says "permanent"

You can try using a scaple , and cutting away at the joins.

I had to do this, took me ages, once the joins were cut away/ freed, i pried it open with a crowbar.

3M 1288 release adhesive and sealant remover type in 5200 remover in google. Be careful prying it out. You can break the pump shoe or damage the hull

I had everything glassed at one time .. Meaning front of grate was covered no holes showing at all ( big mistake) so the boat looked completly smoothe from grate all the way back to plate. Well since I had to do many adjustments of grate I had to pull the glass off of it which was an absolute pain had to heat up the grate to over 250 degrees for it to pop out while prying. don't do this!!!! I took paint off bottom of shoe shoe it just looks like a shoe sealed with the right stuff . It really looks no diffrent. Unless you take off the back of the pump then you can see where the back lip was filled from pump tunnel to wearring its nice and flat. But I have no problems with the shoe

    Cool

My shoe needs to come off because I have it recessed up to far in hull (i've got more than a nickel of space). I have the side angled sections of plate (on each side of flat center section) hanging below pump shoe. Center flat section of plate is not hanging below shoe. This can't be a good set up for top speed, but it was the only way I could get to optimum plate angle (2 washers front mounts of plate). with the side surfaces of plate set for no water flow obstruction/plate not hanging below shoe, I was at half the best plate angle .480, but managed a few 76.1 passes with half tank fuel. I guessing there is a few mph with setting the bottom of boat up correctly!
By the way if anyone has a pumpshoe they want to sell shoot me a pm.
