Can I use a Silicon Coupler for the exhaust?

I have nice blue silicone couplers. but can they be used instead of the rubber? Thanks

I don't see why not.. Riva uses them on the thru-hull (unless they're fake/rubber). I would think silicone is better than rubber in every aspect except maybe price..

I would say rubber more than silicone, but it will keep the distance gap to a minimum, like butt the tubes to each other...the more of a gap the more chance for burn through if no water hits that area...
