let me re-word so i make sure i understand....

you run the ski, and you don't get a check engine, a beep, or any codes.... all it says is "SENSOR" on the display...

it then puts the machine into limp mode and loses power... did i understand correctly?

when this "phenomenon" occurs, did u press the SET button 5 times quickly to see if if would manually spit out a code that way?

and what kind of work are you doing? Performance work or repair work?

if performance... please list what you've done to it so we can single out what sensor it might be..

oil pressure sensor is VERY COMMON on these... but 99% of time gives a code when u press set 5 times

is it beeping?? is the red light coming on??

or does it JUST read the word SENSOR on the screen?

my money is on oil pressure sensors... u can replace both of them and see if it solves the problem... they're cheap enough and bound to fail on that model year...

otherwise, stop by your friendly local dealer and swindle him for a few dollar tip to quickly connect it to the BUDS computer diagnostic and retreive the fault history for you
