2007 GTX limited problems ...
hey guys...my best friend has problems with his GTX limited.
- It used to run 8000 rpms all day long. the ski has 21 hours on it.
- Now, it only runs 7020 rpms and sometimes it feels like it is stumbling when idling....
- It has lost over 10 mph on GPS.
- It had sensor pop up on the display a couple of time on the trailer.
- We changed plugs and it still does it.
- they plugge din the BUDS and there are no codes
Can it be dirty injectors ?
any help is appreciated.

The only thing I can recommend (from experience) is check to see if the O2 sensor on the waterbox came unplugged.

I will start by saying I have no idea what I'm talking about, but maybe the RPMs are too high to suggest it's running in some sort of limp mode or perhaps something to possibly do with the TOPS being activated. Bad gas or something that has triggered the ECU to make an adjustment...the idle RPM - what's that at? The O2 is a good call and I'm thinking it is gas/intake/exhaust related. Do you use the BUDS system while it's running because if not then it might not be detecting anything. Again, I preface all this with the moron disclaimer.

Dash, its at Clear Lake Kawasaki Sea-Doo
uhm....I will check the O2 sensor. But won't it set of a sensor all the time ? just asking.
I will make sure he asks the tech if the O2 sensor is plugged in.
I was wondering about bad gas too, but, he gas'd both skis up at the same time the same place.......and the 07 RXP is running fine.....
I aprpeciate everyones input. I will foward this information to him.

Beat me to it, sounds just like my 07 when the washers blew, it was only at 5 hours. Same symptons though.

Metal washers were installed by Jerry on both of his skis when he bought them.
we checked for a booost leak too. I rode on the back with the rear seat off and check'd things while we rode.....can't find anything. pulled the SC hose off and checked the SC impeller....fine.....making boost, you can see the hose sWEll......
sometimes it wants to idle at 1620...then down to 1280...then back up to 1800.....
only tops out at 7020 rpm...use to run 7950-8000 all day long

hmmmmmmmm I know from experiance that a faulty sensor can cause all sorts of grief on anything with a ECU. It also DOES NOT have to send a code. It can work enough to fool the ECU or give bad faulty info so the ECU thinks its working but causes timing changes or fuel/air delivery changes. I had bad O2 sensor that caused all sorts of grief never sent a code we found it by using a sinffer for a car to get the exhaust readings. I took it to a friends shop we took 2 RXP's so we could get a base line to compare with.
