Thread: Impeller Damaged

My brother recently took his GP1300R to Seaside Heights for the regional races. While he was there he was doing some Ocean Riding and managed to suck up a rock or two. He heard them fly through, removed the pump when he came home he had the impeller out...... not good. He chewed up a 14/20 dynafly pretty good. He showed me the impeller today and was wondering if he could send it out to get it fixed/repitched now that he got a new one from RIVA. I shot some pics of it and wanted to see what you guys thought. I told him it was too screwed to be fixed....

One more pic.... one of the blades is physically bent up and folded over itself... which I think is the killer of the prop itself
Sorry about the pic... but you guys get the idea.....
Thanks for anything you guys can offer!!!

The prop can easily be fixed.Check your pump liner and stator vein assembly. There's a chance its gouged up also.

just send it to Impros as already mentioned - they can fix it - it will end up being better than new because everything will be true
they have a shipping form you can download off their web site

I've got one that looks about like this as well... how much do they charge for something like this? Basically I need to know to know whether it will be worth fixing or not.

Dont forget you can also get it repitched, while they are doing the repair.
