RXT Poor hook in the chop
Well I was surrounded by Ultras today and the RXT felt handicapped in the rough. I am faster by like 4 MPH but only in any swells under 12 inches. At top speed I get disconnected alot and the speed drops plenty.
I have moded the paddles , not too keen on skegs and no grate as yet. Does the intake grate make a real big diffrence in the rough?

I'd be curious to see how a RXT-X grate works.

You will loose speed with the R&D in flats though, as I've read.
I noticed a big difference last time in the chop with the stock intake grate. It just became unhooked repeatedly. With the riva this did not happen.

Riva grate maybe with Jerry's skegs, why did you post this twice—mods this can be combined...
