    More Polaris questions from an Australian newbie

    Hi all,
    You've probably answered these questions many times but as i'm new to this please bear with me. My ski is a 1997 polaris SLTX 1050. I had the engine reconditioned last year, one new rod, rebore and new pistons fully assembled (AU $1800 5 months). I re-kitted the carbs and fuel pumps refitted the engine and got it running. The engine lasted 4.5 hrs before it seized, a removal and strip down reveiled the outer main bearing (mag end) had failed taking the inner and big end bearings, rod and piston with it(i believe it was sucking air through an incorrectly fitted mag cover, engine was never pressure tested). I returned the engine to the "engineering" shop which thev've had for 6 months only to discover they've lost? (sold) my cylinders. These parts are not available locally (used) so I'm turning to the US for help. I'm considering installing a virage 1200 and my questions are
    1. Are the 1050 and 1200 engines completly interchangeable
    2. Suggestions for jetting? ski is running carbontech reeds and a hotseat waterbox
    3. Will the standard impeller work?
