    pump wedge

    would you guy know if the 4 degree wedge already came on a 96 sltx ?

    That's right. Move up to the 6 degree.

    hmmm so a 6 degree aluminum one would be better but would it suck in rough water conditions ?

    Yup. The only time I run my 6 wedge is when I'm making top speed runs. The 4 deg just works so well for me. Handles better, rides better, takes off better...The 6 has its place, and I wouldn't not have one, but I rarely use it.

    I ride on lakes. There is never a "too rough" issue with the 6 degree on a lake. There was no difference with the 4 vs the 6 on any lake I've been on.

    If you ride in the ocean, then I can see where the difference would be.

    I installed my 6 years ago and I've rarely removed it.......I'm kind of curios what it would be like with the 4 after all this time??

    A 6 will kill you out on Grand, but just about everything else around us would be fine, just a little bouncy.

    hmm im seeing people say its gonna be a rough ride , i guess i wont know untill i get one for my self ,

    now i know this is a noob question , ( still am compared to most ) but what way does this make the pump angle move up or down ,

    It points the pump up more, thereby lifting the nose of the boat.
