    Spec 1 Pipe.

    Guys, I just have a question about my set up and adding the spec 1 pipe. I'm gps'd the little guy at 61mph. What will it do with the pipe I'm putting on over the winter and how much quicker will it be? I have no data on the boats accelleration but it's pretty quick all things relative.

    I ran a spec I on a limited class race boat. I never GPS'd it, but it was very quick out of the hole. My wife and I took many a holeshot on that ski.

    It's pretty quick now, it's out accellerating most most 951's.

    Back in the day, we ran miller head with 225 psi compression (before unleaded fuel requirement for racing) with the spec I and buckshot 46s. The ski was an absolute rocket out of the hole. Many like the spec II because of the ECWI. I beat many skis with the spec II. However, I think the spec II might be a little better for top end.

    How's the reliability with the mojo.

    I had no issues with reliability with the pipe. The Buckshots were a different story. They were a pain in the a** to keep tuned properly.

    Can you have the spec II without the buckshots?

    Sure. Novi or if you can find a set SRE made a good set too.

    My Buckshot 46's are consistent on my VE though.

    Thanks. Looks like this winter I will add a Spec I pipe plus Buckshots. He's (as of yesterday) running 61mph with a nice holeshot, any predictions?

    Im running the new style 48 novis and a spec II on a ve cylinder in my Hx
    And that rips out of the hole pretty hard
